Did you see us on BBC ALBA this past month?
Earlier in the month they featured our Crinan Canal transit and celebration of 80 years of VIC 32 and this week we were sharing some behind the scenes of our biofuel transition 🔥🚢🤩🌍🎥
In the first video the focus was on our celebrations of 80 years for VIC 32 and included some excellent footage of the iconic Crinan Canal transit and a little about the history of Puffers on the West Coast.
In the second film you can see engineer Richard using the new fuel in our boiler as well as mate Jim explaining how it works and why we’ve made the transition that has taken us almost 5 years of trials!
We will be sharing a lot more about this major milestone over the next few months but for now here’s a sneak peek into us becoming the first heritage vessel in the UK to make the switch 🌍
Also featured in both videos is Dan the Merman talking in Gaelic about the importance of sustainability to the future of tourism in Mid Argyll 🌍🥳
Many thanks must go to Alba filmmaker Seonaidh MacKenzie who has made this footage for us over the past few weeks and been such a joy to have on board with us.
